The Idealist community is a vibrant collection of individuals looking to make the world a better place. We’re the staff and board members of multinational organizations and the weekend volunteers at small local charities; we’re social workers and development professionals; social entrepreneurs and students. We cover every issue, and we’re in every country.

In this series, we’ll meet some members of Idealist who are out to do good in the world. You can get to any of their profiles by clicking on their picture. Then just click Send a Message to reach out!

    Hey Kim,

just stumbled across this website/blog in my job search and instead have been inspired to donate my time. You say in your post that Idealist is in every country, but the only other blogs are in French and Spanish. I am bilingual (German and English) and would love to start a German Idealist blog or help with translation, etc. Is this in the works and who should I connect with to make this happen?

    Thanks so much!
    Juliane

This is a great post! In Minnesota I’ve been trying a few variations of this, and there are a ton of young professional, and other groups attempting to do this very thing. Thanks for the post, I’d love to talk to anyone who’s looking for a volunteer opportunity in MN, especially serving on a Board of Directors for an org.
